Exhibition of WatercoloursBy Aisha Dupont-Joshua
Private view – all welcome
Friday 11th November 2011 7.30pm
Aisha Dupont-Joshua studied fine art painting at Bristol, Walthamstow and Wimbledon Colleges of Art in the 1970’s. She lived in a spiritual community for many years, before becoming a counsellor. She works as a counselling lecturer.
She returned to her artwork 10 years ago in the form of watercolours, inspired by the work of her late husband Stephane Dupont. Previously working very slowly in acrylics, she found the medium of watercolour fast and exciting. Enjoying the merging of colour and form.
Her inspirations are the recurring themes of trees,
many of which were painted in Nonsuch Park, Sutton - and the sea, starting with the South coast in England and later finding inspiration in the wonderful colours of the sea in Koh Phangan, Thailand.

`Voices and Dreams` by Marina Jurjevic and Hannah Stuart
Inspired by Virginia Woolf, stream of consciousness and Lewis Carol’s Alice, Hannah and Marina have created `Voices and Dreams` exhibition as their artistic dialog. They juxtaposed the artwork while contemplated on how we communicate with each other and with the world.
What is real and what unreal?
Hannah and Marina explored different patterns of perception through plurality of perspectives: in front, behind, in the glass, through the glass inviting a spectator to join them on their experimental journey.
